Students from High school for catering and tourism in the EU InfoCentre

About 40 students from the High school for catering and tourism “Lazar Tanev” in Skopje on 18 March attended a lecture in the EU InfoCentre on the history of the European Union and its institutions, as well as about the opportunities available for the young people.

Following the lecture, they took part in a Questions & Answers session and a short EU Quiz. The visit was organised as a part of the activity “Open doors for students”.

The EU InfoCentre opened its doors for students from primary and secondary schools as well as for university students. The aim is to establish regular communication and to widen the knowledge about EU matters through direct contact. The long-term approach of the activity entitled “Open doors for students” is to provide information and foster communication with the youth.
