Creative workshop “Robots of the third millennium” held in the EU InfoCentre


On 15 April, a group of students from 11 elementary schools in Skopje took part in the Creative workshop “Robots of the third millennium” organised in the EU InfoCentre as part of the Creativity and Innovation days. The students made drawings will be exhibited in the EU InfoCentre as part of the Europe Day celebrations taking place in May.

In the course of the workshop the students had opportunity to see humanoid robots completed by university students participants of the International competition RoboMac held in February in Skopje.

The European Union Mission is organising several activities in order to mark 2009 as the European Year of Creativity and Innovation. These activities aim at raising the awareness about the importance of creativity and innovation for personal, social and economic development. They help in disseminating good practices, stimulating education and research, and promoting policy debate on related issues.
