Framework Programme - FP7 - presented at the EU InfoCentre


On 16 April, the European Union Mission organised a presentation of EU 7th Framework Programme for Research - FP7 - as part of the Days of Creativity and Innovation taking place at the EU InfoCentre in Skopje. The presentation was attended by potential beneficiaries of the programme such as academicians, researchers, representatives of the business community, civil society, public administration, etc.

Violeta ATANASOVSKA, National coordinator for FP7 and Marina STEFOVA from the Faculty of Natural Science and Mathematics and beneficiary of FP7 explained the objectives of the programme as well as the process of its implementation.

This event is linked to the celebration of the European Year of Creativity and Innovation. The European Union proclaimed 2009 to be the Year of Creativity and Innovation In order to raise awareness of the importance of creativity and innovation for the personal, social and economic development; to disseminate good practices; to stimulate education and research and to promote policy debate on related issues.
