Promotion of the book ‘Europe at the Crossroads’

On 15 July 2009, the book ‘Europe at the Crossroads’ by Goran ILIK was promoted at the EU InfoCentre in Skopje.

The book was introduced by Ambassador Erwan FOUÉRÉ and Prof. Slavejko SASAJKOSKI.

During the short presentation of the book, the author explained that ‘Europe at the Crossroads’ is divided into three thematic parts and each part presents relevant and complementary thematic frame aimed at elaborating, defining and concluding the key aspects of the concrete issue under research – the Lisbon treaty and its implications on the foreign policy identity of the EU.

The three parts of the book are - the EU as a political union, the Treaty of Lisbon and EU’s foreign policy identity and integration phase, as well as the role that the Union plays in the promotion of a new world order.
