2009 Progress Report introduced to the business community

On 15 October, the European Union Mission in Skopje organised a presentation of the annual paper ”Enlargement Strategy and Main Challenges 2009-2010”and the 2009 Progress Report for the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to the business community.

The crucial elements of the documents regarding the political, business and economic environment were presented by Ambassador Erwan FOUÉRÉ, Head of the Delegation of the European Commission, Emmanuelle GUIHENEUF, Head of Operations 2 and Ruzica Andronikova, Task Manager.

Ambassador FOUÉRÉ highlighted the main findings by the Commission in the field of economy and encouraged the business community to continue playing active role in the overall social dialogue.

He congratulated the audience on the recommendation of the European Commission for opening accession negotiations.
