Pupils from the primary school "Johann Heinrich PESTALOZZI” visits EU InfoCentre
On 16 December,
the EU InfoCentre organized a presentation about the EU for seventh and eighth grade pupils from the primary school “Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi” in Skopje.
The EU InfoCentre staff made a short PowerPoint presentation about the history of the European Union its institutions and symbols, including the flag, anthem and motto, as well as about the joint achievements of the European nations.
Following the lecture, they took part in a Questions & Answers session and a short EU Quiz.
The EU InfoCentre opened its doors for the students from the primary and secondary schools, as well as for university students. The aim was to establish regular communication and to widen the knowledge about EU matters through direct contact.
The long-term objective of the activity entitled “Open doors for students” is to provide information and foster communication with the youth.
