Students from the primary school "Vera Jocich" visited EU InfoCentre

About 40 students from 7th and 8th grade from the primary school "Vera Jocich" attended a lecture about the EU in the EU InfoCentre on 23 December.

The lecture covered the history of the European Union and its institutions, the EU symbols as well as the opportunities available for children. Following the lecture, they took part in a Questions & Answers session and a short Quiz on the EU.

The EU InfoCentre opens its doors for students from primary and secondary schools as well as for university students. The aim is to establish regular communication and to widen the knowledge about EU matters through direct contact. The long-term approach of the activity entitled “Open doors for students” is to provide information and foster communication with the youth.
