08 November 2010 European Mobility Week in Kumanovo
 On the occasion of the European Mobility Week, the EU Info Point Kumanovo organised a lecture and a workshop for children, ‘I Travel Smart’ on Monday, 8 November.
The event took place at the ‘Vuk Karadzic’ primary school, with the participation of 30 pupils of Macedonian and Albanian nationality. A presentation on sustainable urban transport was held by a member of the local VELO M bicycle club, followed by discussions with representatives of the same club and of the Prevention Department at the Ministry of Interior.
After the lecture the children took part in a drawing workshop on themes related to sustainable urban transport.
The event was also organized in cooperation with the citizens’ association Centre for Inter-cultural Dialogue. |
